I'm just living and these are my thoughts

I must say that I have never been a big fan of Nas, other than the fact that he is very Very Very attractive. My excuse for not liking "up north" music is due to the beats. However, I got more interested in Nas following the release of "Daughters", which made me go get this album.

I am now a HUGE Nas fan, since the release of "Life is Good" I have been digging in the Nas archive wanting to listen to his old music. Nas is a great rapper/poet that is often overlooked. I have never been a huge Jay-z fan but after fully listening to this album Nas is a better rapper. He has deep messages behind his songs, yes I am a southern girl that likes that beat in the trunk. With this cd the beat wasn't important, the hidden deep message had my attention, which is important with any rapper or singer. This cd made me asked "what are we listening to that we are calling music".
